HOURS OF OPERATION
We are a family-run business, owned and operated by Chris Hunter and Mary Julia. To keep our prices as low as possible, we do not pay someone to cover the phone and answer emails as they come in. We spend most of our time caring for the animals, as we live and work at our facility. REPTILE GUARANTEE
We have one of the best guarantees in the business. This guarantee applies to overnight delivery only: We guarantee Live arrival and 7 day health EXCEPT:
1. If it is delayed or mis-handled by the carrier (UPS, FEDEX, DHL, DELTA, SOUTHWEST).
2. All overnight packages must be signed for. However, your package will not be marked "signature required." If we mark your package this way and you are not there to receive it, the carrier will not leave it and it will ride around with them the rest of the day. The carrier may or may not return that day to leave your package. If the carrier refuses to allow you to sign for your package because it is not marked signature required or he knocks and runs, we must be contacted within 15 minutes, via email, that your package was delivered to you. There will be no exceptions made!
If your order is covered under the guarantee, we will replace or credit your account with us for the cost of the animal, however, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping charges. You will need to send us pictures via e-mail or taken with a regular camera, in the event of any death during shipping. You must contact us within the 7 days of receipt of your order, via email, if there are any issues with your order.
2nd day shipments: If you are only offered 2nd day shipping via the shopping cart and you would like to have overnight shipping, please let us know so that we can check with the other carriers to see if overnight is offered through them. If you let us know after placing your order and we cannot find you overnight service, your order will be covered as if it were shipped overnight (all of the terms of overnight shipping will apply). If we do not hear from you, your order will be shipped 2nd day with no guarantee. There will be no exceptions made! Please review your order carefully as there are no cash refunds! Credits will be issued to use at any time!
AMPHIBIAN GUARANTEE
Due to the delicate nature of amphibians. Amphibians have a live arrival guarantee only. All of the terms of the overnight delivery above apply to this guarantee. There are absolutely no guarantees on 2nd day shipments. We must be contacted, via email in writing, within 15 minutes of arrival in the event of any DOA's. We will replace or credit your acount for the cost of the animal only, reshipping costs are the customers responsibility. You will need to send us pictures via email or taken with a regular camera, in the event of death during shipping. There will be no exceptions made! Please review your order carefully as there are no cash refunds! Credit will be issued to use any time!
Legal
There are State and Local restrictions in a few jurisdictions prohibiting the possession of exotic animals or reptiles and several other items shown on our web site. Nature Coast Exotics Inc. WILL NOT knowingly sell any products in violation thereof. It is the responsibility of you the buyer, NOT Nature Coast Exotics inc. to understand your local, state, and federal laws before placing an order.
If you are unsure of your states laws pertaining to any products you want to order, you should consult local, state, or federal authorities to be certain you are not breaking any laws. It is your decision whether to be in civil disobedience of your local laws.
We under no circumstances will sell to minors, or to anyone we feel may use our products for illegal purposes. We reserve the right to decline any order. By placing an order, the buyer represents that he/she is of legal age and that products will be used and possessed only in a legal manner. ie turtles that are under 4" strait line are sold only for true scientific, educational or export purposes ONLY!
Having no control over the use or care of any product once in the buyer's possession, we assume no liability associated with their use. Under no circumstance is Nature Coast Exotics Inc. liable for any loss, cost or damage, of any kind arising out of the keeping or inability to keep, these products, or the suitability of use for any particular task. This responsibility is totally on the buyer. Owning and or caring for exotic animals and reptiles is a large responsibility. If you are not sure whether you can handle it, please don't buy our products until you get the proper training and or knowledge associated with your potential purchase.
In the event of a dispute between the Buyer and Nature Coast Exotics Inc. which cannot be resolved by negotiation, and in the event the Buyer undertakes to sue Nature Coast Exotics Inc. in a court of law, then it is hereby stipulated that venue for any such action shall be only in Hernando County, State of Florida.
By ordering from our site, you are certifying that you are at least 18 years of age or older, or you have parental/guardian permission to order from our site. You are also certifying that the products ordered will be kept only in a lawful manner and that you or your parent/guardian has read, understand and agree to the terms posted here on this page. If paying by credit card you are authorizing Nature Coast Exotics Inc. to charge your account the Total shown on the order form.
